GUARDIAN ANGEL PROGRAM

In planning ahead for your pet(s), an additional option that we offer at Advocates 4 Animals is our Guardian Angel Program. Our unique and specialized program will allow you the peace of mind in knowing that your pet will be cared for in the most loving and committed way- upon the death or terminal illness of the pet's owner. If you are interested in signing up for our Guardian Angel Program, you must meet the following requirements:

1.      Be 59+ Years of Age (or have a current diagnosed life-threatening illness)

2.      Meet with an Advocates 4 Animals- Guardian Angel Program Manager

3.      Complete the Guardian Angels Program Application form

4.      You must designate an individual(s) who will be responsible for notifying Advocates 4 Animals in the event of your terminal illness or death.

5.      You must notify your current veterinarian of your enrollment in the program (a copy of all forms will be provided for your vets records)

6.      Donation Requirement (Amount to be discussed upon inquiry)

When you sign up and are accepted into our Guardian Angel Program- you are guaranteed loving, committed care for your pet(s). All of our rescue pets are housed in wonderful foster homes and have individuals spending time with them on a daily basis. All pets receive a general health check at the veterinarian, are treated for the prevention of fleas, ear mites, worms and are tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. All pets are also spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Should any special needs arise with your pet(s) and those are also treated and addressed with our veterinarian. All potential adoptive homes are screened prior to an adoption taking place. In the event that your pet(s) is unadoptable (due to old age or health concerns), he/she will live out their life peacefully in a loving Advocates 4 Animals volunteer members home.
